Keyboard shortcuts
Every keyboard and mouse shortcut in the print viewer.
Shortcuts let you move through a print and switch tools without reaching for the toolbar. They don't fire while you are typing in a text field.
On a Mac, use Option for Alt and ⌘ for Ctrl.
Moving through layers
| Keys | What it does |
|---|---|
| ← / → | Previous / next layer. Hold to keep going. |
| Shift + ← / → | Jump to the previous / next critical section. |
| Shift + click the layer arrows | Same as above, with the mouse. |
| L | Go to the layer number field. Type a layer and press Enter, or Esc to cancel. |
| Alt + scroll | Step through layers from anywhere in the viewer. |
| Alt + Shift + scroll | Step 10 layers at a time. |
| Scroll over the frequency plot | Step one layer. Add Shift for 10 layers. |
Tools and layout
| Keys | What it does |

| H | Hand tool. |
| Hold Space | Use the hand tool until you let go. |
| Middle mouse button + drag | Pan the image. |
| C | Comment tool. Not available on a shared link. |
| S | Switch between the recoat and exposure image in single view. |
| 1 | Single view. |
| 2 | Dual view, side by side. |
| 3 | Dual view, stacked. |
| Alt + click a defect type's eye | Show only that defect type. See annotation toggle. |

| Keys | What it does |

| Hold Shift while dragging | Switch between orbiting and panning. |
| Shift while dragging a region corner | Move along one axis only. |
| Ctrl + Shift while dragging a region corner | Move within one plane. |
Report and comments
| Keys | What it does |
|---|---|
| Ctrl + P | Print the report or save it as PDF (on the Report tab). |
| Ctrl + Enter | Post the comment you are writing. |
| Ctrl + B / Ctrl + I | Bold / italic in a comment. |
