The Euler Connect tray menu
What each item in the Euler Connect tray menu does.
Euler Connect has no main window. It runs in the background and shows an icon in the notification area of the Windows taskbar. Click the icon to open its menu.
The icon color shows how Euler Connect is doing: green when everything is working, yellow while it is starting or its state is not known yet, and red when something needs attention.
Menu items
Restart
Stops Euler Connect and starts it again. Try this first if a device stops sending layers.
Setup
In the tray menu: SettingsSetup.
Opens the setup window again, for example to connect this computer to a different organization or to change the hostname or proxy. See Setting up Euler Connect.
Launch at startup
In the tray menu: SettingsLaunch at startup.
When checked, Euler Connect starts automatically when you log in to the computer. It is on by default. Leave it on for a computer that runs a printer, so monitoring continues after a restart.
Export diagnostics package
In the tray menu: SettingsDiagnosticsExport diagnostics package.
Saves a zip file with Euler Connect's logs and settings. Choose where to save it. When it is done, Euler Connect shows Diagnostic package successfully exported and opens the folder. Send this file to Euler support when you report a problem. See Troubleshooting Euler Connect.
Clear log directory
In the tray menu: SettingsDiagnosticsClear log directory.
Deletes old Euler Connect log files to free up disk space. Euler Connect asks you to confirm first, and keeps the current log. If you are working with Euler support on a problem, export a diagnostics package before clearing the logs.
Quit
Closes Euler Connect. While it is closed, no layers are sent to Euler and connected devices show as Offline. To start it again, open Euler Connect from the Windows Start menu.
