Installing Euler Connect
Download Euler Connect from Euler and install it on the computer that runs your printer.
Install Euler Connect on the Windows computer that runs your printer. If that isn't possible, see Where to install it.
Only organization admins can download and set up Euler Connect for an organization.
Download
You can download Euler Connect from two places in Euler:
- On the Overview page, in the Set up live monitoring card, open the Install Euler Connect step and click Download Euler Connect. The card shows until your organization has a working live connection, unless you dismiss it.
- In SettingsDevices & Datasources, under Datasources, click New datasource, then Download Euler Connect.
The download is a zip file that contains the installer.
Install
Unzip the download
Copy the zip file to the workstation if you downloaded it somewhere else, and extract it.
Run the installer
Open the installer and follow the steps.
Continue with setup
When Euler Connect starts for the first time, it opens the setup window. Continue with Setting up Euler Connect.
After setup, Euler Connect runs in the background. You find it as an icon in the Windows taskbar notification area, and it starts automatically when you log in to the computer. You can turn that off in the tray menu.
Updating
Euler Connect doesn't update itself. To install a newer version, download Euler Connect again from Euler, the same way as above, and run the new installer.
