Supported devices

Which printers Euler reads build data from, and how to ask for a new one.

Which printers Euler supports

The device type decides how Euler reads the build folder, because each manufacturer stores build data differently. Supported manufacturers include EOS, SLM Solutions, Renishaw, DMG Mori, 3D Systems, Additive Industries, AMCM, Aconity and others. If a device type does not support manual upload yet, Euler shows Not yet supported for this device when you try.

Requesting support for a new device

Only organization admins can request support for a new device.

If your printer model is not in the device type list, ask Euler to add it:

  1. Go to SettingsDevices & Datasources.
  2. Click New device, or Edit next to an existing device.
  3. Under Device type, click Printer model not listed?. The Request a printer model panel opens.
  4. Fill in the form:
    • Manufacturer: the printer maker, for example EOS.
    • Model name: the model, for example M 460.
    • Recoating image path: an example path to a recoat image in a build folder, for example PrintJobs/job123/Post-recoating image/2024-01-15_layer42.jpg.
    • Exposure image path: an example path to an exposure image, for example PrintJobs/job123/Post-exposure image/2024-01-15_layer42.jpg.
    • Notes: anything else about how the printer stores its images.
  5. Click Submit.

The Euler team reviews the request. You can follow it on the Overview page under Device requests. When it shows Added, click Set up to create a device of the new type.
